This week seems a little up and down... my date for tonight changed her mind, but I'm seeing her tomorrow instead. I can't entirely blame her for not wanting to go to Swindon just to watch my hooligan friends explode things. It would have been a lot more convenient if we still had our fireworks meet-ups in south London, but typically it's moved to someone else's place this year, now that I live in south London myself.

My car failed its MoT on Wednesday - on emissions, which isn't unusual for a rotary engined car. I'm getting it serviced this coming Thursday anyway, and then I've booked it in with an MoT tester who owns an RX himself and knows how to treat them properly before/during running the test, so hopefully all will be well.

I just finished reading the His Dark Materials trilogy, which is very good. It has a bit of a sad ending and I'm feeling a bit susceptible to that kind of thing at the moment, so I'm moping a bit now. I'm going to try to counteract that by getting dressed and going out to find somewhere that will sell me a fried breakfast.

ha... maybe, I havent had any social life for thre months at all... Kind of getting used to it now-prob not that bad a thing considering what my life will entail in the next year!
