Don't wanna be at work today. No braaanes.

Went out last night with work for 'goodbye' drinks for our admin girl, who is returning to university after a placement year with us. The more reckless of us ended up going to Oceana (where I got ID'd ?!). I rolled into work today at 11am, shortly after my boss phoned me to see if I was planning on showing my face at any point. Hehe.

Tomorrow I slide a little further into the warm dark waters of senility that have been creeping up on me since... well, I can't remember. Obviously a while then. Fortunately I have been offered a rather entertaining diversion to keep me amused for the weekend, which I'm greatly looking forward to... in fact, I'm counting down the hours to midday tomorrow with somewhat childish glee.

The fates have been remarkably good to me in the last few weeks - somewhat overdue I feel - so I'm feeling a bit more upbeat than I have for a while. Next weekend also has a rather promising start lined up, so on the whole things definitely seem to be going well. S'nice.

Update: just found an amusingly accurate review of the club I was at last night.

Oceana is great, student nights are great and there aren't old people that you would get a lot of in Leicester Square. You know what I mean, you look around all you see is white cleavage all over the place, can you get better? NO!
