You've probably all seen this one before... if you want to be asked 5 questions, post a comment here. If I give you some questions (I'm not guaranteeing I will, given my current mood-swings and such) then you post them (with answers) in your own journal and offer to make up 5 questions for your friends. And so on...

My questions were asked by [livejournal.com profile] kissycat1000:

1. What is it about poly that appeals to you the most?

I have a high sex drive, and what I think is a fairly normal liking for variety (in both partners and kinks). An open relationship is the only way I've found to satisfy this without cheating on my partner - which I've done in the past, and very much disliked myself for doing.

I find that in open relationships, I tend to make varying degrees of emotional bond with the people I'm sleeping with, therefore poly is more applicable to the way my mind works than swinging (where the intention is generally to keep things on a purely physical level).

2. Do you feel that, in time, you'll feel able to ride a motorbike again?

I hope so. I fear not.

I think I'll have a better idea of the answer to this once I've started driving again... at the minute the whole traffic thing looks horribly complex and I doubt my ability to deal with it. Hopefully this is more fear than fact. If it turns out I can cope with traffic okay, then I only have the motorcycle-specific fears to deal with after that.

3. How would you rather spend an evening; out at a fetish club surrounded by people whom you have a mutual attraction to, or at home with one special person?

Oooooh, here's the hard question. I sat and stared at the screen for a while on this one. Then answered all the other questions. Then stared some more.

I don't think I'd be at all happy without some aspects of both these things in my life. If I had to choose one right now, I'd choose time with a special person (if I had one). If I was forced to make that decision every day, I'd almost certainly make the same choice each time for quite a while - but I wouldn't be happy in the long-term, and eventually things would break.

4. On a scale of 1 to 6 (1 being completely straight), how bisexual are you, and has this varied at all through your life?

Isn't it usually 0 to 6 (Kinsey scale)? I usually put myself between 1 and 2 on that. Really I just like giving guys head. Really really like :) Other than that I'm predominantly inclined towards girls, particularly when I'm not getting any, i.e. right now. I don't think this has changed since I first decided I was bi, which was when I was 21.

5. Are you happy that you relocated to London? Why?

I think I will be once I have money to spend. Right now I'd probably be unhappy wherever I was, because I can't do much. I've always been the one who travels to see my friends, and right now I can't do that, so my life is pretty much on hold until the house sells. Getting dumped obviously didn't help with the isolated/lonely feel of my life right now.

I think I'll like living in London though... ask me again at the end of summer and I should have made my mind up :)

Do you think the joy of graduating from Cambridge will more than, just about, or not even slightly cover the amount of stress involved in studying there?

What would be your porn star name?

What's your favourite non-domestic animal, and why?

Chocolate or sex?

Chocolate and sex?

As long as I get some kind of job after graduating, I'l think its been worth it. But so, the only thing that has made it worth the stress of studying there, apart from the course occasionally being enjoyable, has been the large range of corrupting influences interesting, intelligent, attractive people I've met and slept socialised with.

Probably something capitalising on my innocent, upstanding appearance.

Big cats like pumas, tigers and cheetahs. Because they are all beautiful creatures. And are either powerful, agile or speedy. And the young look so cute! Also currently Xenopus laevis, as have been learning about the mechanisms of it's cellular development.

Currently chocolate, as I don't have time to have sex. And am perpetually having to remember to eat lots of food. :(

Yes please! How efficient! Mmmm.

Is it coincidental, you asking teenage girls with cat themed names, what porn star name they would have? :-p Not one-track minded. Ever.

You like doing it standing up?

Never tried!

I once got told that I had a one-track mind, and that the track in question was salvaged from some very twisted roller-coaster wreckage.

I thought of the question for you originally, but was so pleased with it that I decided to re-use it :)
