I've read the first book in the Gap series a couple of times, and recently bought it. I then found out that the rest of the series is out of print *scowls*
I happened to see books 3 and 4 in a bookshop in MK yesterday, so I've grabbed those - which leaves me missing books 2 and 5 from a five book series. Not ideal.
1) Does anyone know whether the Gap series benefits from / absolutely requires / doesn't really care about reading it in order or not?
2) Does anyone have the books I'm missing and would they be willing to lend them to me?
3) If anyone sees the books I'm missing for sale anywhere, please let me know.

Date: 2005-01-30 01:05 pm (UTC)It's more of a five-book-long single integrated (and very complicated) plot than a sequence of vaguely disconnected books; I really don't think I'd recommend reading them out of order.
I hadn't heard they were out of print. I'm quite surprised.

I've got the whole series; is there a convenient way for me to lend you bits of it?
Um. I dunno if I know anyone who moves between Cambridge and London at present...
