Work Xmas dinner last night... the bosses handed out presents in-between main course and dessert. They gave me an iRiver.

I still have a slightly shocked look on my face :)

Some of the other presents they gave out were great too - the dyke girl who is one of the dev team got a day of Monster Truck racing :) and the project leader guy got a day of rally-car driving. Our quality control / admin girl got 'a shopping spree in Top Shop, with personal shopping assistant'.

They really put the effort in, over the last six weeks they've chatted to each of us about what we're interested in and led us on a bit so that they got a good idea of what everyone might like. Very impressive. Nobody realised they were doing it either.
