A guy called Steve has just lifted my mood considerably today. How did he do this? He sent me a pair of emails, firstly thanking me for releasing a piece of software I'd written, and secondly offering me some patches to tidy up some loose ends in said software. I feel all appreciated :)

This'll be the second person to contribute code to YAWNS since it was released a few years ago... not quite a steady stream of patches, but nonetheless, it makes me feel a bit less like I'm inflicting my noddy code on an uncaring and hugely unimpressed world - someone not only likes it enough to use it, but they like it enough to tell me that they're using it, and then to enhance it!
