I have BREASTS!!

...oh okay, maybe they're just defined pectoral muscles, from going up all those Whitby hills on crutches.

It's damned odd looking in the mirror at the moment - I've got biceps and now pecs too, I feel like I've got my head stuck through one of those 'you as the bodybuilder' photo charade things at the seaside. I hope I keep this upper body mass when I lose the crutches, it'd be nice to have something positive come out of this mess.

(note, I don't actually have anything anyone else would call muscles - it's all relative though, and this is definitely the most upper body strength and definition I've ever had)

I saw a friend do firestaff recently, and I'm now determined to get started on fire poi as soon as I'm able to stand on both legs safely again. From what I've heard, they're kind of heavy compared to normal poi, so hopefully that'll help me keep any muscle tone I've gained by then.

They are, and top tip practice lots with them unlit first then wear something with a hood the first few times you light them.
