(Decreasing levels of debt and anxiety)++

So I'm having fun working my way through my pile of credit cards and loans, paying them all off. I was slightly concerned that I'd be a bit unhappy about paying out all this money and not getting any tangible shiny things for it, but fortunately my brain is very happy about my rapidly dropping total debt, so that's good.

In other good news, I went back to the clinic for a booster shot and my results this evening, and all is well with the world (except the very small part of my arm that is protesting the existence of needles).

Sometime between getting the blood taken for the test last week, and collecting the results this week, it occurred to me that I spent several months last year/early this year sleeping with someone who I now know lied to me about at least one person they slept with while we were together. A little thought on that subject left me very tense in the run-up to collecting my results... I've never had any serious reason to be nervous about them in the past. Sobering stuff.

However, I refuse to dwell on it this evening - everything is good, and I'm off to phone some more credit card companies and give them obscene amounts of money :)
