The haves and the have nots...

I have never...
Passed any A levels.
Been a passenger on a commercial flight.
Seen the pyramids.
Learnt to swim.
Smoked (tobacco or hash).
Been paid for performing in a stage-show or similar.
Had a boyfriend.
Parachuted.
Abseiled.
Slept with anyone famous :)

But I have...
Earned a first class honours degree.
Flown a plane, rode a motorbike, and driven a car, a lorry and a bus. And a speedboat, briefly.
Met and been backstage with many of my favourite bands.
Stage-dived.
Tried/used most drugs (often to excess).
Played with fire-toys.
Come/been out to family, friends and co-workers.
Been recognised by people that I don't know, in towns I've never visited before. And not from LJ.
Written software that other people choose to use.
Had my photo on the front page of the (local) paper. In a good context, before you start :)


Not a bad life, really. And as nisaba observed on her similar post, still a few years left to catch up with those 'have never' items that I'd like to move to the 'have' list.

Okay, personally I've bought all the series as they've come out, and I like the special features... but that is an amazing bargain for anyone who doesn't already own them.
