Stuff and nonsense...
Sep. 10th, 2004 05:22 pmApparently this thing is doing the rounds again.
In more serious news, my beloved 21" Iiyama monitor didn't survive the journey to London :( If anyone has advice on whether or not it's worth getting it looked at for possible fixing, and anywhere to take it for that, I'd be happy to hear it. ( symptoms )
I managed to borrow a monitor from work and get Windows installed (after a near-epic amount of messing around) and I now have 1.5Mb cable at home, woo woo. Although I can't use it until I get a new monitor, boo hiss. I feel a powerful urge to spend money I don't have on a pair of 19" flat panels, and I suspect I'll give in to this urge sometime around Monday afternoon.
This weekend sees me making an overnight trip back to MK to try and get some of my crap organised into a carload and moved to the flat (thanks Dad). I should also get some paperwork sorted out, although the odds are I'll just ignore it all as per usual.
I really must try to get a review of last week's TG written at some point this weekend, for UKFI - one of my main objectives in moving to London was to go to a lot of fetish events and write them all up for the site. I need to start promoting the site again too, not sure what the best route is - maybe some cheap leaflets to put out at clubs, I can't think of anything else anyway. I suppose I should wait until I've been paid at least once before I start spending money on that kind of thing.
I just booked my ticket for the TG Rubber Ball special on 2nd October which should be good - it generally sells out, and attracts a lot of very cool outfits, so looking forward to that.
_exitwound_ will be going along too, which should be fun - it's been quite a while since I saw her.
