Hair today, gone tomorrow...
Sep. 2nd, 2004 10:25 amBraids started losing structural integrity yesterday, so I decided to take them out. Started at 9pm, finished at 2am. Didn't lose as much hair as I was expecting to, but then I've not had them in that long.
In other news, my leg really fucking hurts. It's been getting worse all week - I can only presume that the 20 minute walk to work is more than I can currently cope with. I don't really see a solution for that though - I just hope it gets used to it soon, because at the minute I can barely walk at all by the time I get here in the mornings, and the pain level isn't helping my concentration either.
I did some ringing around yesterday about getting my new flat online... it's on Telewest, so on the bright side I can have 1.5Mb cable for much the same price as my 512Kb ADSL + BT line was costing me in MK. On the down side I have to install Windows on something for them to come around and install their software on, as they refuse to support Linux to a truly pathological extent - they won't even come round and plug the modem in without a Windows machine sat there, let alone set up the connection for me. Oh, and they can't do it until the 9th (next Thursday). At least that gives me time to borrow a Win98 CD from work and do the evil deed. My poor PC. Oh well, at least
duranorak can play Alice on it now... she's only been waiting for a year or so.
