Fuck me, it's Father Christmas!

So here I was, sat contemplating this Xmas - the first Xmas in my life that I will wake up alone in the house. The first Xmas in my life that I won't see either of my parents. It was looking a bit abstract as festive occasions go, even with the prospect of dinner with my sister(s) and brother tomorrow.
And then there was a knock at the door. Probably carol singers, I thought, as I hobbled downstairs to open it.
Instead, it was my aunt... with a big red Xmas stocking full of things that I'm not allowed to peek at until tomorrow morning :)
Merry Xmas everyone, or whatever seasonal indulgence you want to celebrate at this time of year. Have a good day tomorrow.
