Adventures in virtual shopping...

Today is too hot. Armed with this fact, I decided to surf a few shop websites and find myself a Big Electric Fan of much goodness.

At homebase.co.uk, I ran into an unexpected problem... a search for 'fan' resulted in the following javascript error dialog:

"Search term must contain 4 or more characters. Please search again."

...but I want a fan. And 'fan' only has three bloody letters. Who makes up these halfwit restrictions on functionality?

Anyway, not to be deterred, I decided to try and find them by going through the departments. Clicking on 'The Home Shop' got me, after a long pause, the following error page:

Webadapter was unable to process the request.

Please note that something went wrong!

At this point I give up  :)

Hackers DVD for sale, brand new

I've foolishly purchased a copy of Hackers on DVD, which I already own. Rather than send it back to the Jersey-based company I got it from, I thought I'd see if anyone a bit closer wanted to buy it off of me. I paid £6.99, and it's still shrink-wrapped...
