Adventures in virtual shopping...
Aug. 6th, 2003 03:53 pmToday is too hot. Armed with this fact, I decided to surf a few shop websites and find myself a Big Electric Fan of much goodness.
At homebase.co.uk, I ran into an unexpected problem... a search for 'fan' resulted in the following javascript error dialog:
...but I want a fan. And 'fan' only has three bloody letters. Who makes up these halfwit restrictions on functionality?
Anyway, not to be deterred, I decided to try and find them by going through the departments. Clicking on 'The Home Shop' got me, after a long pause, the following error page:
