This evening I went to Tesco on the way home from work, intending to buy a microwave meal for dinner. They must have been giving tuits away free on the door, because instead I came home with loads of stuff, cleaned my kitchen and then cooked some real food. First time in nearly six months that I've cooked (if you don't count microwaving ready-meals as cooking that is). Food
good. *scoffs food* Also the first tidying the kitchen has had in that time - it was ground zero for the Great Brick Attack, and has remained trashed ever since as some kind of testimony to my state of mind...
Some credit here to
firewoman for visiting me at the weekend (which encouraged me to get rid of the worst of the mess before she got here), and
gothslut for cooking me dinner twice recently and reminding my stomach what real food tastes like - I suspect the tuits were in fact caused by a full body mutiny, started by my stomach and taste buds working in tandem :)
