Just sent a follow-up email chasing the job application that I was CV-polishing for yesterday. Before I'd finished composing my next email, my phone rang. The ensuing chat was largely positive - most particularly the name of the potential employer - so I've asked the agency to put my CV through, and if they can't push the money up over 25k then I'll have to make do.
