...that, and proving that presumably you don't need to understand the concept of 'infinity' to get a PhD in cleaning elephant enclosures.

she's right it's of little scientific value, whether or not it had anything at all to do with the whole monkeys/Shakespeare theory.
The only thing it shows is that monkeys are marginally smarter than AOL users.

As soon as I saw you'd commented on this post, I was expecting it to be something about how the monkeys obviously weren't given enough PRANG! to drink while they were on their literary quest... they'd have knocked up Macbeth in a couple of days with a few crates of that inside them! *grin*
