I could sit for hours, inches away... feeling your heat, hearing your heartbeat on the air... Reach out... never quite touching... run my hand millimeters from you hair and face, feeling the crackle of energy, feeling you leaning into my touch, raising your hand...
Our fingertips would never touch... not quite, ever...
I would close my eyes and imagine moving to you, finally touching you, having what is not allowed... when I open my eyes your own hold mine and I can't look away...
It would be both bliss and the most painful of tortures ever... a neverending dance of need...
