So, enough with the quiz results already. Here's today's exciting update...
I went to the shopping centre here in MK. Bumped into my sister and her fiance, got dragged into clothes shops, and ended up buying a frilly shirt and a shiny shirt. Weird things to find in a posh suit shop (they were looking for a wedding suit for him). Or perhaps not - I suppose it's a reasonable place to find unusual shirts. Maybe I should slob around in posh suit shops more often - if nothing else, it bugs the hell out of the staff when you wander in looking the way I generally do and start prodding the expensive merchandise :)
As Orange refused to supply me with the unlocking code for my mobile phone because I'm still under contract, I passed the problem on to a bloke on the MK market. He took my phone away, had a quiet word with it, and it's no longer network-monogamous. I can now go back to using my work SIM card in my 6310i, rather than the nasty 3310 that was supplied as standard.
Weighed myself and found I'm now 9 stone 10 lbs, the heaviest I can ever remember being. I'm actually within a stone of my suggested ideal weight (10st 8lbs), which is probably good. As long as I don't just turn into a flabby icky thing on account of I'm getting old. Maybe I should start exercising as a pre-emptive strike. Thinking about it, I actually gained quite a bit of upper body muscle (those who've seen me without a t-shirt can stop laughing now) in the summer of 2001 just by virtue of hanging onto my motorbike while riding it in excess of 100mph (erm, on a private road obviously, officer). That sounds like a good exercise plan - I'll do that again this summer. Good, problem solved :)
Erm. This entry has been brought to you by the word 'Sunday', and the phrase 'Oh god my life is tedious sometimes'. Thankyou.
