I'm sorry :( I sort of know what you mean - I'd love to go driving around the countryside today, and I suspect that's only 'cause I don't know what it's like to ride a bike...

I appreciate the offer, but I've never been a happy pillion anyway. I think I'd probably be less traumatised by trying to ride myself than I would by taking the back seat - although of course the latter would probably be much safer if I did get totally freaked out.

Ho hum. Probably just have to um, ride it out, this summer, and see how I feel next year. Getting behind the wheel of a car will probably be an enlightening experience as regards my emotional reaction to traffic situations.

Thanks for the offer, although having never ridden a chop I dunno how panic-settling the experience would be :)

I think I'm gonna try and get back in a car first, and leave worrying about bikes until I've decided what I think of the whole traffic thing.
