Agreed - it's been one reason why I tend to avoid pubs and clubs (although for the later it's also because I don't dance anymore).

It will be nice for me to be able to socialise without, for instance, the problem I had when I was at the Silverstone pub with my girlfriend and some of her friends, that I actually had breathing problems and ended up sitting outside, in the cold and dark, on my own for about half an hour, before my girlfriend took pity on me and we left.

I think it's all related to my nose and my allergies, but a smokey atmosphere is as bad for me as being exposed to a couple of hours of paint fumes, within about a quarter of an hour I start to feel ill and faint.

Anyway - hurrah!!!
