... odd question for you as I drove to work this morning...

What does your engine sound like?
And what does it sound like inside?

I've never been near enough to an RX7 or known anyone owned one enough for me to hear properly.

(Prompted by how much I love 2500rpm in my car... And also another curious side project I'm running on to do with engine notes and their descriptions).

The RX sounds quite sedate really... although I quite like the turbo whine in the background as they spin up, having never owned a turbo car before.

It's certainly more of a 'powerful sewing machine' sound than a 'big throbbing beast' sound, if you see what I mean... but then it is only 1308cc :)

Inside is very quiet if the windows are up.
