Seeming a little inconsequential in the light of today's events, but I just got a call from the guy who is rebuilding my engine (due to be finished tomorrow). Apparently a few additional problems have been found during reassembly. To cut a long story short, the bill just went up by another 250 quid, and it may not be ready for me to collect this weekend now. Ho hum.
