Of course, the ball is already rolling rather fast now... the best we can hope for is that at least no additional really stupid ideas will be fielded while we deal with the current crop.

zotz pointing out that this wasn't any kind of victory for what's good in the world, unless you want to view it in a very petty spite sort of way. Or, as wechsler put it, "Bad things do happen to bad people for bad reasons".
