Just finished reading Incompetence by Rob Grant. If you like Douglas Adams, you'll almost certainly like this book. There's so much throwaway humour going on that I kept forgetting that there was actually a fairly engaging plot going on as well.

Tomorrow night I'll be meeting an online friend from the USA when she lands at Heathrow. Then I have to point her in the appropriate touristy directions for the week. As I don't know London that well myself, this could prove entertaining for the both of us.

Incidentally, she wants to go to a Halloween party, and TG is sold out. Anyone know anything worth going along to, preferably on the Saturday? Must be fancy dress, or at least mostly fancy dress...

Thanks - a couple of particularly good ones in there that I hadn't thought of.
