There have been multiple police sirens roaming around my estate for the last hour or more... accompanied by the thudding of not one but two helicopters wandering around above us. It's four in the bloody morning, surely there aren't that many crowds of people wandering around for a fugitive to take cover in. I can only presume whoever it is can outdrive the lot of them, which wouldn't surprise me. Two helicopters seems like overkill though... makes you wonder just what the person they're after did exactly.

Meanwhile, I seem to have lost the ability to sleep, even before this circus kicked off. In fact I seem to be getting more awake by the minute. This doesn't bode well for the afternoon, but at least it's Sunday... no real harm done if I sleep through the daylight bits of it.

Last time I took an interest in their accounts (about two years ago), Thames Valley Police only owned one helicopter... so for them to have dragged another one in, someone must have either been very naughty :) or come here from another district with a helicopter in hot pursuit - which would be an excessively long chase for anything involving a copter, they're usually over quite soon.

Oh well - I must have passed out just after dawn, because I just woke up feeling halfway decent :)
