Under some protest, [livejournal.com profile] duranorak made a new icon for me, to my specifications :)

She also signed for my delivery this morning, a shiny new 120GB hard drive - that should hold a fair amount of pr0n^H^H^H^H data. I will now be installing Debian on my desktop machine, hopefully before the hard drive completely fails on this laptop (it looks like it didn't survive my accident unscathed after all - the logs are showing massive amounts of unrecoverable errors accessing the disk).

I like doing things to your specifications. ~grin~

Even so, yes, this icon was made under protest. Thank you for acknowledging that. :)

That's odd, I just ordered a 120GB HDD so I can install debian on (what is currently) my desktop box...

Put that away, it's scary.

Yes, seagate barracuda.

Well, I can report one successful Debian install onto just that drive, as of about an hour ago :)

I take it from your phrasing that you're re-purposing your machine from desktop to some kind of server role once you've got Debian on it?

Swapping the desktop and server over, as the cases and CPUs are better suited that way.
