Argh!

My bloody iRiver is broken again. Less disconcertingly fatal this time, but definitely a 'send it back' problem this time instead of a 'wtf?' problem. The headphone socket is dodgy, and now the unit only plays back in one headphone, at reduced volume, until you push the headphone jack to one side with your thumb to make the contact work properly. This isn't a viable way to walk down the street, and certainly isn't acceptable from a month-old £280 toy, so back it goes. *goes to talk to boss about returning xmas present*

Return of the Spitz / Balls!

After deciding only last week not to frequent Spitz any more until the ambient air temperature picks up a touch, I got a phone call last night from a French girl that I'd promised last year to take down there and introduce to people when she reached the UK, after speaking with a friend of hers on Home of Poi. Ah well... at least she sounded cute. See you at Spitz tomorrow, juggling-type-people? :)

Oh yes, while I'm on the subject... spoke to Aerotech on the phone today; they said send the poorly glowball back to them with a sick-note, and they will make it all better.
