Something I kept meaning to post about, just for the sheer weirdness value of it...

This autumn I noticed that on my left cheek I have a patch of albino skin - it's very pale, and all the hair growing from it is white, although it's surrounded by skin that grows dark hair. It's about the size of a 50p, located about halfway along a line between my lips and my ear.

When I noticed this and went "What the hell? When did that happen?", the girl I was with at the time said "It's been like that for as long as I've known you"... so now I'm curious - has it always been like this? If not, when did this pale patch appear?

So... comments requested from anyone who has noticed said patch and can remember when they first noticed it, or anyone who can definitively say that they know I didn't have a patch of pale skin on my left cheek at some particular point in the past (I dunno if anyone actually pays this much attention to my face - apparently I don't).
