Damn... my bedroom light-bulb just went 'pop'. How the hell am I suppose to change a lightbulb when I can't stand up safely? *ponders*

I think it'll have to wait for tomorrow, then I can ask a mate to come over and do it for me. How embarrassing. :)

You could tie the light fitting to the corners of the bed with string, then you'd only have to use one hand to get the bulb in and you could use the other for a crutch. I highly recommend the "get somebody else to do it" course of action though. Much less effort.

This was my first thought when the idea arrived.

Although if you tied a handy sub to the bed, the handy sub then wouldn't be able to reach the lightbulb to change it for you either. Eek, the dilemma :)
