According to darkgoblin, the ISC have released a patch to the Bind DNS to block the Verisign rubbish. I haven't had time to look it up yet but just the thought made me laugh.

And they did it in the most technically elegant way as well - disable wildcarding on those (or any other) top-level domains. This avoids the other patches I've seen that specifically block the Verisign site. Excellent!
