Thanks to giolla - both for taking the original pics, and for making them into an icon.

The animation seems to lurch around a bit, but the wall I'm standing on is probably less than a foot across, with an 8 foot drop one side and about 10 foot the other... so I was more worried about keeping my balance than I was about how easy I was to take pictures of!

But I want to see you playing with your poi.. I LOVE watching poi when there's a skilled person in control. I remember purrthecat in the UV room last time we all went out.. I could have watched for hours..

I think the adjective for my control of poi might be 'enthusiastic' rather than 'skilled' :) but I'll try to remember to bring them along when next we're to meet, if it seems practical...

That would be Alton Towers, August the 2nd.. unless you can think of anytime before then? The trouble being that I just can't travel unless it's the 1st weekend of the month, and these are filled up far in advance..

And I'm pretty sure TG is usually a Friday evening. Bluergh. Difficult.

TG moved to Saturdays for a while when it was at the Colliseum, but now that it's back at Mass I think it's Fridays again, yeah. Which is a shame.

Alton Towers is still provisional for me, mostly depending on finances at the time, but I'll certainly try!
