Oo, shiny!
*looks at rest of site*
Bet that wasn't what you were looking for in the first place :)

The general idea was sheet armour, like, the proper medieval stylee sort (that, ah, requires chainmail over thick cloth underneath it. Hm. Not so good for speedy nudity)

The other day, I was putting together a design for a trick involving a suit of armour pinned to a wall, an angle grinder, and a bag of blood. Sounds similar.

It was sparked off (literally) by a guy I saw in the club the other night who was taking an angle grinder to himself...

You want to speak to [livejournal.com profile] allezbleu about that.. she does that, last time was the WASP factory awards ceremony last week. Her metal face masks have some very interesting marks on them..

*Grins* It was a great act and gave a gorgeous top edge to the bassline. *Dances* to angle grinder beats. It was a hard house / trance night so it went down really well. Sonique played, which just about made it perfect. I really think I need to become Neon and take [livejournal.com profile] firewoman along next time. So we can get wired up and dressed up and guested.

It was, actually  :)

I don't really have the chest measurement for armour though...

Hrm... how about this one (http://www.edirectory.co.uk/pf/pages/moreinfoa.asp?RecordID=FIHBEB&companyid=1016) then? (it's probably best to ignore the hat though!)

Yes, but I was trying to compromise between that and ease of removal/circumvention  :)

Cunning plan.
I believe they used to make them with hinges in convenient places...
