Forgot to mention, I've managed to implement almost all the required look-and-feel in the new system I'm developing here at work, without using any IE-specific code in my HTML. This means that (a) I don't feel soiled  :)  and (b) I've hopefully shown the other developers up as the incompetents that they are, as they told my manager that the required spec couldn't be met without breaking standards. Hah.
