Just finished watching all of Firefly. I now join the ranks of those sulking because there's no next episode coming along. Bah.

Heavily recommended (on the off-chance that I'm not the last person on Earth to see it), but still. Bah.

watched it during it's first run in the US and was gutted when they canned it. Typical fox network stunt. Watching via download/dvd and seeing it in the correct order (fox transmitted it all out of order) meant that it made a lot more sense.

Serenity came off the cinema run the week before I moved back to the UK so I still haven't seen that yet. Must get an import of the dvd sometime.

Intelligent scifi, with good plot/characterisation. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

aha, I didn't realise it was out here yet. Cool, that will have to be ordered soon. Wish I could watch it on my projector/big screen back at home. That will have to wait for 6 months though. Laptop screen just won't do it justice I feel.

well, there's always the film to watch after the series - it seemed to cover the episodes thay were canned. i thought firefly was ok, but not the earth shatteringly good sci-fi that people make it out to be, just a comedy western in space. ho-hum.
