5 star customer service
Oct. 27th, 2004 10:55 pmOn the 8th of this month, I bought six books at a branch of Books, Etc. Over a week later, I actually looked in the bag when I finished the books I was already reading. There were only three books in it.
I couldn't quite figure out if I'd mislaid a second bag somewhere, or they'd fallen out, or what. The fact that the missing three were the first three on the receipt made me think maybe they were never put in the bag in the first place. I decided to front up at the store and run it by them, see what they said - for the sake of almost £21 worth of books, I figured it was worth a try.
Amazingly, they listened to me, then they actually checked the stock levels of each of the three books both physically and on their computer, and verified that they had an extra one of each. Then they gave me them.
This is my impressed face.
