dennyLast weekend, to celebrate my new status as a freshly employed and responsible adult, I bought a devil-stick you can set fire to, and then set fire to it. As an added bonus, when I turned up at the park with my fire-stick, parafin, and slightly worrying grin, I found a group of girls with a set of really nice fire poi (and equally worrying grins), so I lit up next to them and I managed to get a go on their poi too.

This weekend, likewise in honour of my current high levels of respectability, I had a lot of wool braided into my hair...
The story of my getting a flat in London has yet to be told, because first I need to calm down enough to tell it without wanting to go out and firebomb random letting agencies halfway through. However, the theory is that I move in tomorrow at 2pm. I think I'll be pretty much offline for the next week or so, depending on how fast I can get ADSL ordered and set up in London. That's presuming that I do in fact get given some keys when I turn up in London tomorrow, a fact which I personally would not bet money on at this stage...
I do intend to be at the wikipedia talk on Tuesday night, I don't know if anyone who reads this is going (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
reddragdiva, I'm guessing I'll see you there?). I hope to be at the London.pm social on Thursday as well, but I might not. I will very definitely be at Electrowerkz on Friday, as Torture Garden have been kind enough to put on a small birthday party there for me :)
