I was trying to think of a word to express "capricious" that doesn't have the negative associations. So I looked up capricious (http://thesaurus.reference.com/browse/capricious) on Thesaurus.com, and discovered that its synonyms include "kinky" and "queer" :D

So I can't resist. "Capricious." But I say it with love.

I guess you haven't seen me in a few years - I'm two needle-widths off 'overweight' on the BMI* scale now :)


* Please, nobody explain to me in excruciating detail why BMI isn't a very accurate scale - I'm aware of the arguments. It so happens that my weight and general physical condition over the years has mapped onto it pretty damn accurately, and I'm using it in a 'rough guide' context here anyway.**

** It's kind of annoying that you have to write footnotes that long every time that you mention BMI on LJ.***
