Graarrgh!

Cyclists: Do NOT run red fucking lights unless you can see that the road is completely empty in all directions!

Drivers: Pay attention to the road when you're going that fast across a bloody junction!

Honestly, I don't know who to be more annoyed at.

And drivers don't use a fucking phone in the car.

That was pretty much what I meant by 'pay attention'.

Not taking all the responsibility away from her, cos text driving is bad mkay.
But had the jerk not jumped the reds then it wouldn't have matered if she was texting or not.
I think the sentance is more than harsh.

It's crazy isn't it. Cambridge and Oxford are prime targets for this happening with so many cyclist but you'd think this would make people look out more.

My mum was a witness to this accident last year which was horrific. Apparently the driver was checking his phone and sat nav as he was lost but they seemed to ignore that and he got away with a fine and short ban.

Im in 2 minds about that. Yes she really shouldnt have been speeding and using her phone, but what about the cyclist going through a red light! obviously she wouldnt be expecting it, using the mobile or not.
