Team-building...

Last night we went for a work outing. A social team-building exercise, if you like. We went to play virtual golf. I've had more fun playing space invaders on old Atari consoles, but never mind. The food there was fantastic, if rather expensive (yay for the boss's credit card!), and I had a particularly unexpected conversation with the very attractive blonde girl who does our sales. So apparently I'm taking her to TG next weekend.

Anyway, she's changed her mind now. I can see this turning into another one of those occasions where I get stood up by a succession of cute girls and end up going alone and in a foul mood.

Talking of old video games

I just discovered a gambling machines/video arcade place at 69 Tottenham Court Road. They have some fabulous old puzzle consoles (and a Mr. Do! machine from 1982!), not to mention four pinball tables, a rarity these days. Plus upstairs a very shabby pool hall, but I think the other bits are more interesting.
