That reminds of when I used to work in a rock venue / pub, collecting glasses from an awkwardly shaped building, full of dancers and drinkers and smokers. I used to think that a sore throat and eyes watering was a normal night out.

Smokers and drinkers are mostly inconsiderate fucknuts. I know that when I drink I'm more careless and less considerate, and I'm generally a pretty nice person.

Bah.

I'm especially grumpy because we just got back from a hugely expensive and pretty awful holiday - in short - apartment flooded before we arrived, the festival we went to see meant that any affordable accomodation was sold out and there were no flights available in either direction for several days, combined with my wife being pregnant, ill and getting food poisoning.
