"But enough about me..."
I know very little about some of the people on my Friends list. Some people I know relatively well. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.
But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say, 'Ah, there's so and so - she likes office supplies and hentai.'
I'd love it if every single person who Friended me would do this (although I hardly expect this to happen). Yes, even you people who I know really well.

Mmmm, ego massage...
Reviews of me include: nice, loud, funny, weird, a psycho bitch, and disturbing, but overall I think I just try to enjoy life and never take things that don't matter too seriously. :)

I have a fascination with unusual clocks, for instance I used to have an analogue one in which the hands and the numbers went backwards (I miss it). I've seen one where the clock face hangs off and continually turns around a fixed point (which indicates the time), and one that use ballbearings that drop into trays in an 'abacus' type of system. If I could afford to, I'd collect them all and be the 'weird clock lady'.
I've just re-typed the word 'sculptures' (in the first sentence) several times because it looked wrong, and typing this sentence has now made me paranoid enough to actually check the correct spelling in dictionary.com.
I almost always procrastinate until the very last minute and thenI get stressed about impending deadlines. However I do always seem to get things done on time (though barely, and often with help).
I've recently discovered that I prefer not to wear knickers. How I've got to this age and not discovered this before, I have not idea...

Sorry for all the waffle above, I wanted to tell you stuff that isn't widely known about me, and I got carried away... lol

I like the sound of the clock that moves around the fixed point, that sounds cool. I've seen the ball-bearing ones before, they're okay but I dunno, they didn't strike me as 'unusual' - just different. If that makes sense?

I'm living in luton with my kids now although i was living in london last year. I'm unemployed now although previous jobs have been a design engineer for shutdown systems on power stations and oil rigs, performance analyst, design engineer for compressors and generators, and most recently crime and environment manager for haringey council. I'm a bit burnt out now :) I paint and play crap music and look after the kids at the moment.
)you probably knew all of that anyway).

Scarlett O'Hara was not beautiful, but men seldom realized it when caught by her charm as the Tarleton twins were. Her eyes were green without a touch of hazel, starred with briskly black lashes and slightly tilted at the ends. But for all the modesty of her spreading skirts, the demureness of hair netted smoothly into a chignon and the quietness of small white hands folded in her lap, her true self was poorly concealed. The green eyes in the carefully sweet face were turbulent, willful, lusty with life, distinctly at variance with her decorous demeanor.

Other than Purple - Lesser known facts .............
As for some stuff you dont know about me - I was head girl of my junior school - I represented my school and Sheffield Poytechnic at tennis - I sleep with a plimsol under my pillow to stop my partner snoring ( because I can ) ...... I have a penchant for pink wine and champagne - and I have a passion for the unusual in all its forms ........... I also have a shoe collection that Immelda Marcos would be proud of !

I'm an intermittent depressive, with unusual politics and a tendancy to rant a lot about said politics. I'm fiercely loyal to those who I deem to have earned it, but on the flipside of that I am often very hurtful towards those who I dislike. I love using Linux and playing for my brass band, and I fear spiders and those annoying gangs of youths who hang around intimidating people near off-licences. I think that classically-styled cars − like the various Morgans − and anything steam-powered are fantastic.

I'm a university graduate with a useless degree and not quite enough transferable skills...

And I'm secretly dead paranoid, but I mostly understand when it's becoming unhealthy and cut it off. Not paying attention to it doesn't make it go away, but it ensures I won't act on it and be a completely irrational twunt because of it.

My real name is Tove. (English-speaking people allways have a hard time trying to pronounce that.)
And I`m gypsy, thats why I picked yasmin as my nick. (Among other reasons)
And..hmm..
I`m just a shy little housewife :P
