Shiny Things!
Now that was a worthwhile way to waste a Sunday! :)
I went shopping... always good. In Camden... better. With a cute girl... perfect!!
I spent lots of money that I don't technically have (and, haha, no longer actually have either :) ) on Shiny Things. This is a Good Thing (tm). duranorak who endured my love of the 'Tao of BEEP!', and shops pertaining thereto, with her usual grace and charm :)
So anyway, I bought shiny things... my stated intention for the day was actually to find an outfit for the Sex Maniac's Ball. At which they'll be holding the Erotic Awards presentations. One of which my website has been nominated for and I'm in the finals, so... I've got a one in three chance of winning it, I guess. Whew! Very excited, trying not to think about it too often or I'll get nothing done at all...
The theme for the Ball is 'Gypsy', but I seemed to be in full on cyber-purchasing-mode today, with UV reactive stuff topping the shopping list - Cyberdog took significant amounts of cash off of me, the UV reactive shades are particularly silly as you can't see through them properly once they light up :)
I did get a rather nice pure silk shirt, which I might wear on Friday... not sure yet, I suppose it depends how I feel nearer the time. I have a tendency to plan my outfits on the basis of what's closest the front of the wardrobe when I'm due to go out, so it's always a bit hit and miss...
But. My shiny things, even though not on-theme in any way, are Very Cool, and I bounce at the mere thought of them. Oh, there was also a bubble-gun stall which mugged me too, so I'll be generally being silly at the Calling on Tuesday... consider yourselves warned :)
