Onwards and upwards...

I had an unexpectedly good weekend. Had a useful talk with lunernia on Friday, ate large amounts of good food at my dad's expense on Saturday, took lunernia to Black Mass on Sunday, and spent some nice time with her on Monday. It looks like we're going to manage the 'just good friends' thing after all, hopefully.

In other news, my house sale should go to completion either late this week or early next week, at which point I'll be rich! Very briefly. But after that I'll be considerably less in debt, and that will be very relaxing. Current plan for buying a shiny car is looking in the direction of one of these.

This is my surprised face.

The TV Licensing And Unwarranted Postal Harassment Company has done something right. They sent me a letter which contained (a) a postage-paid return envelope, and (b) a form with a space at the bottom for me to fill in the following tie-breaker: "I do not need a TV license because ...". They didn't say how many words I was limited to ;) so I kept it simple: "I do not watch TV".

Hopefully what I win is for them to piss off and leave me alone, w00t.
