Progress pics

It's been a while (5 months) since my last set of progress pics. As per usual, I can't see much difference between those and the current ones (if anything I think I looked better in the last set), but perhaps I'll think differently in another six months time, who knows.

Front/back (relaxed)

Side (posture, or lack thereof)

Unconscious posture has clearly dissolved again, so much for the progress I thought I was making there. Looks okay once I think about it (I think).

Front/back (tensed)

More back (mmmm, lumpy)

One year ago

Apparently it's been 1 year since I took my first set of progress pics. So, how am I doing?

Wow, fuck-all difference. That's kind of depressing.

Update: [personal profile] helenic points out that most of the visible changes in my body are visible when I move, not when I'm at rest - the muscle shows through. I dug through my archives, and it turns out that although I wasn't posting them back then, I did take some front-view pics with muscles tensed. So, let's compare that progress again:

Slightly more difference to be seen there, although still not as impressive as I might have hoped.

Sorry you're disappointed with these pics. I know they're meant to illustrate differences you can see in your body after the very hard work you've put in working out. I always click on them over on LJ but I don't think I look at them with the same scrutiny; my usual reaction is "ooh Denny's body! ooh Denny's body again!" etc.

I bet you're really strong now and could lift me up ;)

Lots of love

You look a LOT more toned and defined, and you are clearly slimmer. What sort of change were you hoping for - more bulk? I didn't think you'd been working out in a bulk-building sort of way?
